Michigan Wolves


Legislation has been passed to include gray wolves in the list of game animals in Michigan
. Under Michigan’s comprehensive wolf management plan, farmers and landowners are already able to kill wolves who attack their livestock and/or pets, so there is no need for a hunting season on wolves. Despite the recent delisting from 'endangered' status, wolves have still not fully recovered and occupy only 5 percent of their historic range.

Efforts are underway to collect a whopping 225,000 signatures to get this issue on the ballot for voters to decide, rather than a small committee. We need help collecting! You can learn much more and sign up to help by following the link below.
